Lead Rubber Bearing (LRB)

Lead rubber bearing as a laminated bearing manufactured from layers of rubber, bond with layers of steel, and in middle of bearing there will be a solid lead core or cores inserted, which form a bearing with strong vertical stiffness and low horizontal stiffness.

During the deformation in horizontal direction, the lead core dissipated the energy from the earthquake.

Dr. Robinson who invented the lead rubber bearing, combining the above two properties to form the lead rubber bearing to extend the structure vibration period, reduce the structure acceleration under earthquake, Until now, the lead rubber bearing has become the most common and effective isolator in the world.

Stable Bilinear behavior
 Well-Link's LRB with stable bilinear behavior, which makes the structure analysis results more similar to the actual behavior. (The simulation of bilinear is more accurate to real one.) 

The performance test under high speed motion
 The earthquake motion is not in slow speed, to identify the lead rubber bearing performance under high speed (20cm/sec, 10 cycles), in accordance the above speed, and tested in NCREE, the test result shown Well-Link's LRB still in good performance.
