Lead Rubber Bearing (LRB)

Lead rubber bearing is composed of laminated rubber and lead core. Rubber has the characteristic of low horizontal stiffness, which extends the vibration period of buildings or bridges, thereby decreasing the acceleration of the structures during earthquakes. Lead core provides damping, which absorbs energy induced by seismic waves. The lead rubber bearing combines the above advantages and has experienced many earthquakes, showing good isolation efficiency and reliability.
